Founder, Promoter & Chairperson (Executive Director)

Mr. Aloysius Prakash Fernandez., was the Executive Director of MYRADA an NGO for 28 years. He worked with the World Bank and with Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). He was the first Chairperson of Nabard Financial Services Ltd. (NABFINS) a subsidiary of NABARD. He was Director of Corporation Bank and member of Dr. Rangarajan Committee on Financial Inclusion and of Bangalore University Syndicate. He is considered as the pioneer of the Self Help Affinity Group in India since 1984. He founded Sanghamithra Rural Financial Services, — a Not-for-Profit MFI registered in 1995 and TIREN in June 2024. He was awarded the Padmashree in 2000 and also received Life Time Achievement Award by Shri M. Nagaraju, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Govt. of India at Sa-Dhan National Conference on 13^th Nov’2025.
